Turn Ordeals into Opportunities

Negotiating Conflict Workshop

When work transactions or everyday situations escalate into disputes, individuals don’t often recognize how certain patterns of communication or the mishandling of cues emerged. One’s personal stake, self-esteem, and authority are suddenly challenged. Negotiating through this arena can be highly difficult to manage, especially if it entails conflict.

Negotiating Conflict is a workshop that teaches the hard tactics of approach, deployment, and interaction when navigating your position. What are your strengths and weaknesses at the table? How do you experience the potential for conflict? When is it best to use nonverbal communication when making demands? Negotiating Conflict answers these questions and more in a two-day program of dynamic strategies designed to turn ordeals into opportunities.

Engaging Sessions

Sessions are limited to small groups allowing participants high level interaction with exercises that are both engaging and practical. In a blended learning environment, a combination of quick lectures, case studies and immediate feedback are employed.

Best Suited For

Executives, front-line managers, team leaders, customer-facing workers, HR specialists and those dealing with difficult people, will find the Workshop highly relevant.

Module Format

The conflict workshop consists of five modules.

  1. Decision vs Choice
  2. Negotiating Profiles
